One on one tuition with yours truly..

On a teaching one, this young lady asked me which camera to buy (i get that a lot) i swayed her towards a nikon D60 with a nice sigma 2.8 18-50mm lense, much sharper and faster than a standard lense that would come with such a camera.

After only one full day with me here's a good example of the results she has achieved.

I thinks its safe to say she see's the world in a new light these days and has a slight spring in her step from the attention her photo's are getting.

She has also become a really good friend and if i'm not mistaken she could be building up to cooking me a meal.

You know who you are :)

I absolutely love this photo above. Such a refreshing take on a simple shot of a young couple on the beach. With the inclusion of the out of focus dog and hut in the back ground it holds perfect balance.

The balance of the shot is not necessarily one you'll find in a text book but one with real style and and promise. So for some one just starting out it's just outstanding and very exciting.

Well done mate.
